July 13th will mark the 14th Annual Owen Daniel Reak Golf Tournament to benefit The Dolphin House. The tournament come complete wih new shenanigans, as well as the trusty staples. Presented by Nancy Young, Mize Family, Cadez Family, Edward Jones, Montrose Police Department, Kin Connect, TEI Rock Drills, Reid Rutherford Plumbing and Heating and Praise Him Ministries, this year’s tournament will be held at The Bridges Golf Course.
Team check-in and Chaos Putt sign up will begin at 7:30. Breakfast Burritos, courtesy of the Feely Family and Bloody Mary Bar will be in the clubhouse. With your full bellies and thirst quenched hit the driving range to warm up your swing.
At 8:15 join the Dolphin House Executive Director Michelle Gottlieb, her staff, Brian and Feely/Reak Family on the 18th hole below the club house for the Welcome Address and 1st ever Chaos Putt. What is this chaos putt of which I speak? I am so glad you asked. A chaos putt is just like it sounds, it is chaotic, competitive and a hilarious good time. At check-in you will be given the chance to sign up for $10 per numbered ball. You and up to 119 of your closest friends simply stand around the green and on the count of 3 try and sink a putt for a prize. If you make your putt your prize will be awarded at the end of the tournament.
After watching the chaos putt unfold, head to your assigned hole for a shotgun start at 9:00. Lunch will be delivered on the course beginning at 10:45. Michelle, Jenny and Raymie will be driving around the course with ice cold waters and taking team pictures.
